SATEC product groups

The SATEC portfolio includes meters, analyzers and software for power metering, power quality analysis, billing and revenue metering, energy management and integration with monitoring systems.
Products are organized into four main groups: meters and analyzers, software, current sensors and accessories. This structure makes it easier to select a solution based on system type, number of metering points, required accuracy, communication method and the level of analysis required by the user.

Overview of product groups

Meters & Analyzers

SATEC meters and analyzers are used for power metering, load monitoring, power quality analysis, billing and revenue metering, monitoring of multiple circuits and applications in power systems.
This group includes multi-function power meters, power quality analyzers, multi-circuit power meters, Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs), fault recorders and portable analyzers.

Software

The SATEC software portfolio includes tools for configuring meters, collecting data, analyzing power quality and managing consumption.

PAS – Power Analysis Software

PAS is SATEC's comprehensive analysis and engineering software for configuring, monitoring and managing SATEC devices. It supports system setup, communications testing, data retrieval, power quality analysis and reporting, including graphical analysis of waveforms, harmonics, phasor diagrams and trends, with export to Excel, CSV, MDB, PQDIF and COMTRADE formats.

Expertpower – Energy Management System

Expertpower is SATEC's comprehensive energy management software suite for collecting, archiving, analyzing and visualizing data from meters, power quality analyzers and automation systems. It supports Meter Data Management (MDM), billing, monitoring, reporting, dashboards, advanced power quality analysis and energy efficiency applications.

Current sensors

Current sensors are an important part of a metering system because they affect measurement accuracy, safety and reliability. SATEC HACS (High Accuracy Current Sensors) sensors are used in combination with compatible meters for precise current measurement in commercial, industrial and utility power applications.

Accessories

Accessories from the SATEC portfolio are used for device connectivity, data collection, communication, local display of values and easier integration of metering systems into existing infrastructure.

How do you select the appropriate product group?

The selection depends on whether the primary objective is basic energy metering, power quality analysis, billing and revenue metering, multi-circuit metering, software-based data processing or connection to an existing monitoring system.
For basic energy metering, multi-function power meters are typically considered first. For more demanding systems such as substations, data centers, industrial facilities or utility infrastructure, the selection depends on accuracy, communication protocols, mounting method and required analysis capabilities.
