Elektrogen is a company operating in the field of power engineering and automation. Their scope of work includes the design, implementation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex automation, control, and power supply systems in energy and other industrial facilities.

What challenge or problem did you face before introducing SATEC equipment, and how did SATEC help?

The project task required us to design a measurement and regulation system in a substation connected to the power distribution network, where the measurements had to be performed within existing medium-voltage (MV) switchgear (SF6 gas-insulated). Due to limited space, the best solution proved to be the installation of sensor-based devices for current and voltage measurement (GWP), together with the SATEC measuring device (PRO EM235). This setup allowed us to properly configure all measurements, and the system started operating without any issues.

Why did you choose SATEC?

One of the reasons was the technical suitability – the PRO EM235 supports a large number of communication protocols, which was important for integration. In addition, the installation process was simple and well-suited to the limited space available in the facility.

Which model did you use for the project?

We used the model PRO-EM235-PQ-GWP-50HZ-ACDC, together with V120K-5M-1521 voltage sensors and E030T-33M-1522 current sensors.

How did the implementation go – was the process straightforward?

The installation of SATEC devices and sensors was extremely simple, and we did not encounter any problems.

Would you recommend SATEC?

Our experience with the installation and use of SATEC devices has been very positive. The devices operate reliably and stably, so we would certainly recommend them to others for similar projects.

"SATEC PRO EM235 solved the problem of limited space in the existing medium-voltage switchgear with easy installation, stable operation, and reliable measurement."
